- Employers can create an account, select an advertisement package/plan, and post job openings.
- Job Seekers can create an account, upload resumes, and apply for positions.
Please note, First Nation Jobs is not an employment agency, and we do not offer employment opportunities or job placements. Our platform only serves as an intermediary to connect employers with job seekers.
3. Employer Accounts and Responsibilities
- Account Creation: Employers must create an account to post jobs. During the account creation process, employers are asked to provide necessary business and payment details.
- Payment and Plans: Employers are responsible for selecting and purchasing the appropriate advertisement package/plan to post job openings. All payments are processed securely through our online payment system. First Nation Jobs does not collect or store any credit card information. Payments are made directly through our third-party payment processor.
- Job Postings: Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all job postings. By submitting job postings, employers affirm that they are in compliance with applicable laws, including labor laws and anti-discrimination laws.
4. Job Seeker Accounts and Responsibilities
- Account Creation: Job seekers must create an account to upload resumes and apply for jobs. The information provided must be accurate, up-to-date, and truthful.
- Resume Submission: Job seekers are responsible for uploading and maintaining their resumes, ensuring all information is accurate and reflective of their qualifications.
- Job Applications: Job seekers may apply to job postings through the portal. The decision to hire is solely at the discretion of the employer, and First Nation Jobs is not responsible for the outcome of any application or interview process.
5. Payment Processing
All transactions related to job postings, including payment for advertisement packages, are processed through a secure online payment system. First Nation Jobs does not directly handle or store credit card information. By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that payments will be processed by our third-party payment processor.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to engage in the following prohibited activities:
- Post false, misleading, or discriminatory job postings.
- Submit false or misleading resume information.
- Use the platform for unlawful, unethical, or inappropriate purposes.
- Attempt to bypass or interfere with the security measures of the platform.
- Misuse or exploit any personal data of other users.
7. Limitation of Liability
First Nation Jobs provides the platform for employers and job seekers to connect but does not guarantee the success or outcome of any job posting or application. We are not responsible for any claims, losses, or damages that may arise from the use of our website, including but not limited to any issues arising from job postings, hiring decisions, or resume submissions.
8. No Employment Agency
It is important to note that First Nation Jobs is not an employment agency. We do not directly provide employment opportunities or job placements. Our platform only serves as a connection point between employers and job seekers.
9. Termination of Accounts
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who violate these Terms of Use or engage in unlawful or unethical behavior. Upon termination, any outstanding payments or obligations may still be required to be fulfilled.
10. Changes to Terms
First Nation Jobs reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms of Use at any time. All changes will be posted on this page, and the date of the most recent update will be reflected at the top of the page. Continued use of the platform after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this platform will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Canada.
