Job Position : Precast Concrete Moulder (NOC 94103)
Number of Positions Available : 1
Term of Employment : Permanent, Full time and 40 hours a week
Wage : $26.50 per hour
Language Requirements : English
Work Location : Lethbridge County, Alberta
Start Date : As soon as possible
Responsibilities
Construct clay models and moulds for use in casting concrete products
Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced
Set up, adjust and operate single-function machines to mix, drill, grind and cut concrete tospecifications
Build and repair wooden frames used to mould concrete products
Check products for quality control
Move products using forklift, crane or hydraulic hoist
Operate sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone
Prepare and mix slip and fill moulds with concrete
Fill moulds with slip to form pottery and porcelain ware and remove castings from moulds
Qualifications
Minimum of Secondary School Certificate
Experience in concrete work, construction, or manufacturing preferred but not required.
Capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently while safely handling heavy loads up to 40kg
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Excels in maintaining accuracy under pressure while fostering a positive team dynamic
Able to work in environments requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods
