Physiotherapist NOC: 31202
Hourly rate: $47 to $60 depending on experience · After the initial period, a commission/fee split structure on individual services performed is calculated monthly, whichever is greater.
Positions Available: 4
Type: Permanent-Full time (35 hrs. to 40 hrs. a week)
Job Duties and skill requirements:
Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.
Conduct research in physiotherapy.
Confer with other health professionals.
Maintain clinical and progress reports.
Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations.
Plan physiotherapy programs.
Administer evaluative tests and procedures.
Assess patients' physical abilities.
Experience:
No experience is required for Canadian Training Physiotherapists.
Any previous work experience will be an asset.
Experience is required for internationally educated physical therapists as required by the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR)
Education Requirements/Credentials:
A university degree in Physiotherapy.
Credentialling (required for internationally educated physical therapists) as per the requirements of the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR).
Physiotherapy Competency Examination- Written Component – as per the requirements of the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR).
Clinical Assessment BC – Alternate Clinical Evaluation BC (ACEBC) by UBC.
A license or registration with the CPTBC or any other governing body in Canada.
