Job Title: Nanny (Child Care Provider – Private Home)
Location: Employer’s private residence
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, scent-free
Work Setting:
Employer’s home

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
Experience is an asset.
Previous experience as a babysitter or nanny is preferred.

Responsibilities / Duties
Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
Tend to emotional well-being of children and support positive social development
Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities and structured play
Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs
Assist with daily routines including preparing and serving nutritious meals, feeding, and cleaning up after meals
Change diapers and follow parents' lead with toilet training
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social manners
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe play and living environment
Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and handle general childcare hygiene
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and linens
Maintain daily records of children's activities and health information
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and needs
Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
Organize activities such as games and outings for children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Provide occasional vacation relief or support to other caregivers if needed
