Responsibilities
Tasks
Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as per the care plan.
Ensure proper hygiene standards and comfort throughout the day.
Prepare balanced meals and snacks, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Assist with feeding as necessary and ensure adequate hydration throughout the day.
Help follow structured daily routines, including morning wake-up, medication administration, and bedtime routines.
Provide reminders and prompts for all aspects of the daily schedule to ensure consistency.
Encourage socialization and engagement while maintaining emotional well-being.
Provide continuous supervision, ensuring safety at all times, including evenings, nights, weekends, and during all activities.
Monitor environmental factors, such as noise levels and sensory needs, to create a calming and supportive atmosphere.
Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful relationship, maintaining emotional stability and well-being.
Respond calmly and effectively to any behavioral challenges, using de-escalation techniques and understanding of unique needs.
Assist with the monitoring of health needs, including ensuring timely medical appointments and monitoring any changes in health or behavior.
Administer medications as prescribed and track any changes in physical or emotional health.
Maintain open communication with family members, healthcare providers, and other support team members to ensure all needs are met effectively.
Document all care-related activities, including observations, incidents, and changes in routine or health status.
