Salary: 46.63 hourly, less all applicable statutory deductions and withholdings, payable biweekly in arrears. / 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Must be flexible to work on Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, On Call, Weekends and holidays as required.

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of transferable industry experience working in building/hotel filed.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities and Tasks
You are responsible for ensuring a well-maintained, clean, safe, and sanitary environment, combining routine custodial supervision with specialized, periodic deep-cleaning tasks.
· Evaluate and organize the operations of facilities and the included real estate.
· Identify customers’ needs.
· Conduct regular, documented walkthroughs to ensure cleaning quality meets health, safety, and compliance standards.
· Mitigate hazards by removing hazards like debris or spills from walkways.
· Oversee the preparation of reports related to areas of responsibility.
· Plan and organize construction projects.
· Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service.
· Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services.
· Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
· Oversee the leasing/renting of space in the facility and the included real estate and the development of marketing strategies.
· Plan and manage the facility's maintenance budget.
· Coordinate services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, snow removal, and landscaping.
· Adhere to safety compliance at all times ensuring exit pathways are clear of trash and, in winter, clearing snow and ice.
· Perform exterior maintenance work such as power washing walkways, cleaning parking garages, clearing gutters, and removing cobwebs from building exteriors.
· Perform deep sanitization by deep cleaning and deodorizing garbage rooms and sanitizing all restroom grout lines.
· Check, clean, or replace air filters, and inspect vents for dust or mold.
· As required, Dust high molding, pipes, and surfaces not reached in daily cleaning.
· Perform high-touch sanitation by disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, including door handles, light switches, vending machine buttons, elevator panels, and countertops, cleaning and disinfecting toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and partitions, and sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming hallways, lobbies, and high-traffic areas.
· Troubleshoot problems related to equipment.
· Organize and maintain inventory while monitoring and order cleaning chemicals, tools, paper supplies etc., to avoid inventory shortages.
· Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical systems.
· Any other duties as required per business needs.
