About the Opportunity
We are currently expanding our company with multiple exciting opportunities for HVAC Technicians (A/C, heating, gas boiler, tankless) to join our teams in Calgary and Edmonton on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Read blueprints, drawing, specification and layout location point for installation;
· Install and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems;
· Cut, Measure, assemble, install heating & plumbing components such as compressors, motors, controls, circulating pipes, condensers using hand and power tools;
· Connect piping by using welding and brazing equipment;
· Start the system and check leaks using testing devices;
· Perform routine maintenance and servicing;
· Install, calibrate and repair control systems;
· Repair or replace damaged system parts.
· Read blueprints, drawing, specification and layout location point for installation;
· Prepare work estimate for client and make report for the management.
Wage: $ 30.00 - $45.00 per Hour
Location of Work: Various locations in and around Calgary & Edmonton
Term of Employment: Permanent, full-time
Additional Skill Requirements:
· Available to work long hours, weekends and / or early mornings / late evenings;
· Able to work under pressure and in all weather conditions;
· Able to do heavy lifting at times.
· Valid Driver’s license
Compensation Package:
· You will work five days per week for approximately 30-40 hours per week.
· Your working days and hours during the week will be flexible and depending on your shift.
· You will be entitled to 2 weeks paid vacation, per year, calculated at 4% of your salary.
· You will be compensated for any overtime at 1.5 times of your regular pay rate if you work over 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with your Supervisor's approval in advance.
· As per Alberta Employment Standards Code, you will be entitled to statutory holidays and sick days.
