Salary: 56,500 annually / 30 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend (should be available to work according to different time zones. Will be discussed further at the interview)

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in purchasing for Food Industry.
As our store deals with Ethnic South Asian food; knowledge of South Asian food products is an asset.

Responsibilities and Tasks
Study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials
Arrange product according to planogram
Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
Maintain adequate stock levels
Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets
Provide customer service
Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
Select and purchase merchandise for resale
Supervise work of other buyers
Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events, when necessary.
Any other duties as per business needs.
