We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to provide full-time care for children in a private household. The ideal candidate is responsible, nurturing, and committed to maintaining a safe and supportive home environment.

Location: Langley, British Columbia V1M 2R4
Workplace Information: On-site
Salary: 20.00 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Schedule: Day, On Call, Shift, Weekend
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment/Full-time
Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On-site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Employer’s home
Responsibilities
Supervise and care for infants and children
Change diapers and assist with toilet training
Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
Organize age-appropriate activities, games, and outings
Maintain a safe and healthy home environment
Keep records of daily activities and children’s health information
Prepare children for rest periods
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Travel with the family, when required, to assist with child supervision and related duties
Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
Credentials
An Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is an asset, but not mandatory.
