Responsibilities
Tasks
Respond to all customer inquiries with extensive product and menu knowledge, including culinary offerings
Support the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of front-of-house and food service staff
Train staff in job duties, sanitation standards, food safety, and workplace procedures
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff involved in food preparation, portioning, and service
Establish and manage staff work schedules to meet operational and labour targets
Open and close the store as scheduled and oversee daily shift operations
Ensure food quality, presentation, and service meet established quality control standards
Organize and manage daily cake orders and coordinate with the kitchen on production requirements
Estimate ingredient and supply needs for daily and weekly operations
Requisition food, kitchen, and front-of-house supplies as required
Conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts and accurately input data into the reporting system
Proactively place inventory orders and forecast upcoming operational needs
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, repairs, and wastage
Troubleshoot maintenance, equipment, and technology issues during shifts
Prepare and submit operational, inventory, and performance reports
Supervise and verify assembly of food orders, trays, and delivery trolleys when applicable
