Overview
Resilient Management Corp. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to join our head office team in Burnaby, BC. The successful candidate will oversee purchasing operations, supplier relations, and contract management to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement across all departments.

Task
Assign, plan, and oversee projects and programs within the purchasing and warehouse departments to ensure timely acquisition, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
Supervise and guide staff engaged in sourcing, negotiating, buying, and distributing materials, machinery, and supplies to maintain consistent inventory levels and meet operational demands.
Evaluate procurement workflows and warehouse procedures to identify areas for improvement, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Develop, plan, and control departmental budgets, ensuring expenditures align with company goals and financial policies while maintaining cost efficiency.
Review and approve purchase orders, supplier contracts, and claims to ensure adherence to company procurement policies, legal standards, and ethical practices.
Hire, train, and mentor staff in purchasing and warehouse operations. Foster a results-driven environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Design and enforce purchasing policies, procedures, and control systems that support organizational efficiency and transparency in procurement activities.
Evaluate and compare the cost, quality, and reliability of goods and services. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure optimal terms and long-term relationships.
Manage supplier contracts, monitor performance, and resolve claims or disputes in a fair, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Collect and analyze procurement and inventory data to generate regular performance reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Collaborate with the sales team to strengthen client relationships, support contract negotiations, and align procurement activities with business growth objectives.
Organize, track, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure sufficient stock levels, prevent shortages, and minimize holding costs.
